With over 25 years of experience in human resources, training, organizational development, and executive management across various industries, I transitioned from my corporate career to pursue my passion for business ownership. As the owner of ShelfGenie of San Marcos, I leverage my extensive leadership and business expertise to provide an exceptional experience for every client. My undergraduate studies are in business, and throughout my professional career I specialized in financial management and worked for various financial institutions including The Federal Reserve, Bank of America and Washington Mutual. I also had the opportunity to apply my financial and business management experience in leading the grant management function for nonprofit organizations to help them achieve their organizational objectives. After taking a 12-year career hiatus to focus on and raise our two daughters, I am ready to, once again, resume my professional career and am excited to be launching our ShelfGenie franchise with my husband, Ruben. I have always had a natural inclination and vision for organization, and being a full-time mom with two very busy girls, I know the value of keeping things accessible and in good order. I feel I can apply my natural talent and passion in this capacity to the home organization solutions we will offer our customers through ShelfGenie. Building relationships with our customers and our community is very important, and I feel that we have solutions that truly make a difference in and better people’s lives. I am originally from the San Diego area and have been living here my entire life. I am a craftsman at heart and have always enjoyed success in work that allows me to use my strong attention to detail to deliver a truly distinguished client experience. I am proud of my Mexican-American heritage which has instilled in me a sense of honor and a strong work ethic which I bring to every interaction with our clients. When I am not busy delivering an outstanding experience to our clients, I enjoy spending time with my family. Being passionate about carpentry, I also enjoy adding to my collection of carpentry tools.
