Jan Guadagna
Design Consultant
Jan has been a Designer with ShelfGenie since 2018. A friend had Glide Outs installed in her home and was asked if she knew anyone interested in spreading the joy in what we do. When Jan saw the change our Glide Outs made in her friend’s kitchen she was super excited to join the ShelfGenie family. Since then she has enjoyed helping her clients access areas in their cabinets and pantries that were difficult to reach and hard to use. She loves hearing about all the extra space our GlideOuts provide and seeing the improved organization in kitchen and bathroom cabinets.\ Prior to joining ShelfGenie, Jan worked for a major telecommunications company as a utility analyst. She loves coming into new homes and creating solutions that make her clients love their space. In her free time, Jan enjoys visiting her new grandchildren in Titusville and Atlanta and traveling with her husband. -
Philip Monroe
Certified Installer & Design Consultant
Hello My name is Philip Monroe and I am an Installer and Designer for ShelfGenie in the Orlando, Florida market. I’ve been a Florida resident since 1988. Along with my wife, Donna Woelfel, who is an Equine Veterinarian (Horse Doctor) we live on a farm in Lake County where we have horses and miniature donkeys. Our farm, which includes a historic house built in 1901, has been home to Percheron draft horses and a collection of antique horse carriages which I restored. I have always had an interest in working with my hands to build, renovate and install most anything. I learned at a young age the skills of a “Craftsman” from my late Grandfather while building heavy timber drilling platforms in the oil fields of upstate New York. When my family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio I learned hands on all the trades to build and renovate houses by working with my Father in his Construction and Renovation business. I proudly became the first member of my family to attend college and earned my degree in Architectural Engineering at Columbus Technical Institute. This led to over 10 years of opportunities to work with large commercial contractors and real estate developers managing design/build projects of shopping centers, office complexes and retail chains across the Country and led to my relocation to Florida. In 1995, I started on a path to ownership of 3 businesses for more than 25 years. My first business specialized in renovation of bank owned properties, then after obtaining my Florida Real Estate Broker license, I owned two real estate companies. The first specialized in bank owned property sales and the last one specialized in the sale of farms, large vacant land parcels and subdivision opportunities. Now, as an Installer for ShelfGenie, I’m enjoying the chance to work with my hands again. Every job I do reminds me of what I learned from my Grandfather and my Father, which drives me to do the best work I can and to make sure every customer is satisfied, as best I can. -
