Originally from New Jersey, I've been living in Acworth, Georgia since 2008. Together with my wonderful husband Richie, we are raising our four children. I hold a degree in Sports Medicine, but my passion for design led me to pursue a new career path. I find great joy in creating solutions that help my clients live comfortably in their spaces. In my free time, I love playing tennis and traveling with my family.

Kathi was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and relocated to Atlanta over 30 years ago. She worked in accounting for over 25 years in many different fields. Kathi raised her three children in Marietta and was very active in the PTA. After planning many fall festivals, talent shows, and other school events she decided to seek employment in event planning. Kathi currently owns Southern Designs and Events and has planned hundreds of weddings, birthday parties, and a variety other events. She is very detailed oriented and loves organizing. She is growing her passion of designing better organized spaces. Kathi loves to cook and loves helping others organize their kitchen so they will love cooking also.

After many years of moving as part of a Navy family, I settled in Atlanta. Over the last 30+ years, I met and married my best friend, Lynn, and we were blessed to adopt at birth and raise two great sons. My working life was varied, from supervisory roles in retail to international shipping. Around 8 years ago, I found a desire to start my own business, to focus on providing excellent customer service and use my DIY skills as a Handyman. I was introduced to ShelfGenie, after a franchisee read my online reviews. I saw the products at a home show and met others involved in Designing and Installing ShelfGenie. I believe the quality of ShelfGenie products and brand match my desire to meet or exceed Customers’ expectations. I’ve proudly been installing ShelfGenie products since 2020 and, recently, completed training as a ShelfGenie Designer. My hobbies include camping, cooking, fishing, photography and working on my vehicles.

Beverly (“Bev”) Hartel has always had a knack for making people feel at home. From her hometown in Portland, Oregon to New York, and all over metro Atlanta, she has used her foundation of relationships with people to have a successful career in property management that spanned 28 years. Her hobbies include cooking, entertaining, woodworking, biking and hiking. While spending a lot of time in the kitchen she saw how she could help others become organized. After a long career in property management, Bev combined her caring attitude, construction, and general contractor knowledge to start her own business, ContractHER. This led her to a career with ShelfGenie where she can showcase her skills doing what she loves while helping homeowners make their dreams come true.
